Accessibility statement
Last updated: [EFFECTIVE DATE]
Little Wordsmiths is an education product, and we want every child and grown-up to be able to use it. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA.
What we do
- Clear, high-contrast text and large, friendly type.
- Text alternatives for meaningful images, and labels on interactive controls.
- Audio pronunciation of words, supporting pre-readers and different learning styles.
- Keyboard-operable interactive elements on the website.
- Responsive layouts that work on phones, tablets, and computers.
Ongoing work
Accessibility is continuous. We are working on [list known gaps or current focus areas]. If something is hard to use, we want to hear about it and fix it.
Standards
We aim to conform to WCAG 2.1 AA and to follow relevant requirements such as the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and the EU accessibility standard EN 301 549. [State your current conformance level honestly, for example "partially conformant".]
